TEXAS CHILD SUPPORT GUIDELINES

Here are two handy-dandy child-support calculators that are in the Texas Family Code.  They are BOTH intended for people who make less than $6,000.00 a month.  The first one is for people who are not under court-ordered child support for previous children.  The second one is for people who are paying child-support already.  Remember, in both cases, you need to bring supporting evidence to court in the form of tax returns for two years and recent pay-stubs.

The numbers on the left hand side of the chart represent the number of other children you're under order to support.  The numbers along the top represent the number of children in your current divorce.  Draw a line between the two figures to determine what your child support will be.
